Itinerary
Day 1
Transfer from the airport and check into Faial Prime Suites any time after 2 p.m.
2-7:30 p.m.: Welcome table in the hotel lobby.
8:30 p.m.: Welcome dinner at La Cave Bar Restaurant.
Overnight at Faial Prime Suites.
Day 2
8 a.m.: Breakfast at Faial Prime Suites restaurant.
9:30 a.m.: Begin cultural walking tour of downtown Florianópolis; learn about Santa Catarina's history, see its houses, museums and artists and hear its tales.
• Tour stops include Hercílio Luz Bridge's gazebo, Largo da Alfândega, Civic Center, Metropolitan Cathedral, XV de Novembro Square, Cruz e Souza Palace and Municipal Public Market.
• Lunch (at your own expense) at Municipal Public Market. Perhaps try Brazil’s “national cocktail,” the caipirinha.
2 p.m.: ATV ride in Santinho's Beach, Ingleses and fishing town excursion. At Santinho's beach, you’ll get a little training on the ATV and then head out to a 1-kilometer sand trail between Ingleses and Santinho's beaches. The trail has beautiful views and preserved nature, and takes you to a fishing village. We’ll stop for 10 minutes to see some inscriptions and get into the sea. The trail follows to Santinho's Beach. Then we’ll go up to an unforgettable scenic viewpoint. Finally, we’ll take the ATVs and head back to where we started.
7 p.m.: Return to the hotel.

Day 3
7:30 a.m.: Breakfast at Faial Prime Suites restaurant.
8:30 a.m.: Van transfer to Costa da Lagoa.
• You will board a boat and enjoy the beautiful view of green hills contrasting with the vibrant blue lagoon.
• Because of its limited means of access, Costa da Lagoa is considered one of the last protected Azorean cultural places, with a core of fishermen and lace-makers who still live much as their ancestors did.
10:45 a.m.: Arrival at Costa da Lagoa, with a walk to get familiar with the area, the waterfall and the local community.
Noon: Lunch at your own expense. You might try the fresh island fish at a restaurant near the lagoon.
2 p.m. Boat transport to Lagoa da Conceição.
3 p.m.: Van transfer to Barra da Lagoa, a beautiful neighborhood with a great beach and a channel that connects to the lagoon.
3:40 p.m.: Stand-up paddleboarding activity.
7 p.m.: Dinner at Ponta das Caranhas.
Overnight at Faial Prime Suites.
Day 4
9 a.m.: Breakfast at Faial Prime Suites and check out of hotel.
8:30 a.m.: Van transfer to Blumenau (Oktoberfest City), a trip of about 3 hours.
12:30 p.m.: Special lunch (included) at Moinho do Vale restaurant.
2 p.m.: Transfer to Plaza
6 p.m.: Oktoberfest excursion; includes transportation.
• Transport by car to the Parque Vila Germânica in the Velha neighborhood, the heart of the festival. The park gets its name from the shops whose architecture reflects its German heritage. Come and go as you please and enjoy folk music, gastronomy, shopping, bands and lots of beer!
• Return to the hotel: 2 transport times — 10 p.m. or 2 a.m. If you prefer to return at another time, a special Oktoberfest bus route runs throughout the fest to all the city hotels. You may also take a taxi back to the hotel (at your own expense), and the guide (who will be there till the last DreamTripper goes back to the hotel) can assist with that or any other need.
Overnight at Plaza Blumenau Hotel.
Day 5
9 a.m.: Breakfast at Plaza Blumenau Hotel .
A morning and early afternoon at your leisure. During Oktoberfest, parties are everywhere around the city!
3 p.m.: Artisanal beer tour. Sample internationally award-winning beers produced in Santa Catarina. The internationally award-winning Santa Catarina beers feature a variety of tastes, aromas and textures.
The remainder of the day and evening at your leisure.
Overnight at the Plaza Blumenau Hotel.
Day 6
6-9 a.m.: Breakfast at Plaza Blumenau Hotel .
Free time to explore the area’s unique shops for fabulous souvenirs.
10:30 a.m.: Check out of the hotel.
10:45 a.m.: Transfer back to Florianópolis (about a 3-hour drive) and check in at the Faial Prime Suites after 2 p.m.
Lunch and afternoon at your leisure.
6:30 p.m.: City by Night excursion; includes dinner.
On a night ride around the city, we’ll stop at Santo Antonio De Lisbôa beach, a parish that keeps the Azorean heritage alive in the old houses, the costumes and the lifestyle of the people. We’ll walk around and then enjoy a dinner featuring regional foods in a cozy restaurant (included).
Day 7
9 a.m.: Breakfast at Faial Prime Suites restaurant.
After breakfast, the group will head to the south of Santa Catarina Island.
• Santa Catalina sports impressive green hills, uncrowned beaches and buildings dating to the 17th century.
• Around 80% of the total oysters and mussels produced in Brazil come from Florianópolis.
Noon: Lunch (not included), where we can taste the oysters and pastry.
Overnight at Faial Prime Suites.
Day 8
6-10 a.m.: Breakfast at Faial Prime Suites restaurant.
Noon: Check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport.
