Victoria Falls — known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, or “the smoke that thunders” — is an enormous downpour formed by the Zambezi River as it plummets some 360 feet into a massive gorge. The world-famous waterfall sustains an immense rainforest ecosystem along the Zambia-Zimbabwe border in southern Africa. It supports more than 400 species of exotic plants, primates and tropical birds. Victoria Falls has been a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1989. Many endangered and protected species call this area home, including the black eagle and the Taita falcon. Visitors from around the world travel to this town in Matabeleland North to catch a glimpse of its diverse wildlife and towering waterfalls.

Arrive at the airport and meet with Wild Horizons guide for tour of Victoria Falls.
Transfer to Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge.
Check in at The Wild Horizons activities booking office at 310 Parkway Drive, Victoria Falls from 10:00 a.m.-3:00p.m.
Dinner at the lodge 7:00 p.m., served at the main dining area.

Day 2

6:30 – 9:30 a.m.: Early morning game drive in 4x4 vehicle around the concession bordering the lodge; includes guide and transportation.
Brunch at the lodge served at 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m at the main dining area.
Afternoon high tea at 4:00 p.m.
Zambezi River Safari at 4:30 p.m. by pontoon boat; includes drinks and snacks and transportation.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel 46 days or more prior to your trip, you’ll get a full refund. If you cancel within 45 days of your trip, your trip will not be refunded.

Name Change Policy: If you change any name(s) on your booking 45 days or more before the start date of your trip, there will be no fee for the name change(s). If you change any name(s) on your booking 44 to 31 days before the start date of your trip, you’ll be charged a fee of US$50 per name change. Name changes are not permitted within 30 days of the start date of your trip.
