Visitors from all over the world come to see Melbourne’s unique landscapes and native animals and plants, such as koalas, kangaroos and eucalyptus trees. The climate and natural surroundings make the city a favorite for lovers of the outdoors — surfing, hiking, kayaking and other sports are regular pastimes for the region’s inhabitants.

Check into the hotel any time after 3 p.m. 2-6 p.m.: Visit the welcome table in the hotel lobby. 7 p.m.: Welcome buffet dinner at the hotel restaurant. The rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 2
6:30-10:30 a.m.: Buffet breakfast at the hotel. 10:45 a.m.: Meet your English-speaking guide in the hotel lobby. 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.: Full-day Phillip Island Nature Park tour; includes transportation, an English-speaking local guide and dinner at a local restaurant. Times are approximate; they will vary depending on the time of year and when the penguins arrive. • 11 a.m.: Depart from the hotel. • Arrive at Phillip Island Nature Park and enjoy the attractions, including the Koala Conservation Centre and Churchill Island Heritage Farm. • See the Phillip Island Penguin Parade. • Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. • 11 p.m.: Return to the hotel. The rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 3
6:30-10:30 a.m.: Buffet breakfast at the hotel. A day at your leisure. Lunch and dinner are at your own expense.
Day 4
6:30-10:30 a.m.: Buffet breakfast at the hotel. The morning at your leisure. Check out of the hotel by 11 a.m.
Named after the famous bridge in Venice, Italy, the InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto was established in 1891 in Melbourne’s central business district. In close proximity is iconic Flinders Lane, filled with restaurants, and Collins Street, known for excellent examples of traditional Melbourne-inspired architecture. After a busy day, guests can relax at Market Lane Bar during classic high tea.

Please remember to book a reservation for everyone you’re bringing along on your DreamTrip before you travel. Otherwise, they’ll be charged the hotel’s prevailing rate, not the trip price.
Airfare is not included in the trip price! The closest commercial airport to the hotel is Melbourne Airport (MEL), approximately 14 miles (22 kilometers). We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance for any trip.
Make sure to arrange your own transfers between the airport and your hotel, as they’re not included in the trip price.
Cancellation Policy: Once booked, this trip is non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable. No cancellation or amendment is allowed.
Name Change Policy: Name changes are not allowed on this trip.
Welcome DreamTrip Eligibility Policy: The new member rate is available for members who book their first Welcome DreamTrip within 90 days of joining the DreamTrips™ community. The special new-member rate only applies to your first Welcome DreamTrip booking, and only if booked within the first 90 days of membership. Members not in that window can book a Welcome DreamTrip for the higher, existing member rate, which can be viewed in the drop-down menu. If you book your Welcome DreamTrip at the new member rate but are outside of your 90-day window of eligibility, we will email you to collect the difference between the new member rate and the member rate. You must pay the difference within 72 hours or your reservation will be canceled.
Members can’t combine DreamTrips Points. Your membership level determines the maximum amount of DreamTrips Points you can use. If you have more than 50 Rovia Bucks, you can apply them in the checkout process. Contact Travel Supportif you have special requests regarding bedding, meals or medical needs, or any other questions about this trip.
At the time of booking, you will see a page with your order number and trip cost. This is your confirmation. Please retain and bring this information with you on your trip.
Hotel/resort credits and/or discounts cannot be converted to cash, and any not used during your stay will expire immediately upon your departure. Member is responsible for paying any taxes that may be added to items purchased with hotel/resort credit.
In the unfortunate event that an activity or excursion is no longer available, we will substitute a similar activity of equal or greater value.
Make sure that your passport and visa, if applicable, are up-to-date before you leave! It’s important to double check that you have all the identification and other documentation required by the specific country you’re traveling to. In many countries, passports and visas must be valid for 6 months or longer after the trip end date. If you are unable to obtain the required identification and other documentation, the Cancellation Policy for this DreamTrip will apply.
Please note: Due to contractual supplier policies, we may not be able to confirm requested name or room changes to existing bookings for trips that are scheduled to travel within 30 days of your request.
Members with additional people in the room, not booked prior to travel, will be charged the hotel’s prevailing rate, not the trip price.
