Indulge in the Diversity of Beijing

Delve into the ancient and modern history of Beijing, including hutong neighborhoods, the Great Wall and iconic Olympic sites.

About Your Trip

From centuries-old streets to one of the planet's most famous UNESCO-protected sites, savor the different sides of Beijing, China. Visit a hutong neighborhood with its ancient, narrow streets lined with historical houses, courtyards, restaurants and shops. At the site of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games, pass by the Beijing National Aquatics Center and learn why it is nicknamed the Water Cube. Next, get a glimpse of the National Stadium, or Bird’s Nest. After lunch, travel out of the city to a section of the Great Wall of China called the Juyong Pass. Besides high stone walls, it features towers, gates and unique architectural features, including the 14th-century, white-marble Cloud Platform (“Crossing Street Tower”).

During your stay, be sure to take advantage of perks offered at your hotel, including discounts at the restaurant and bar, as well as for spa and laundry services. Enjoy your leisure time and further explore the city at your own pace.

What we love:
• Each hutong, or alleyway, has its own name; some famous hutongs include Skewed Tobacco Pouch Street and Colored Glaze Factory Cultural Street.
• Peking duck is a famous roasted duck dish that’s been served for hundreds of years around Beijing.
• Beijing’s ancient city wall, near your hotel, was built in the 16th century as part of a series of fortifications.
