Guilin can be aptly described as one of China’s most prized hidden treasures. It’s easily the most striking region in the country, featuring colossal limestone karsts, rainbow-hued caves and more. Guilin is named for the flowering osmanthus trees that fill the streets with their sweet fragrance.

Attractions in the region include Jingjiang Princes’ City, Seven-Star Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill and Reed Flute Cave. This picture-perfect area attracts visitors from around the world to float lazily down the winding Li River and to gaze upon the uniquely shaped Longsheng Rice Terrace. Well-preserved temples, pagodas and moats remain from the city’s storied Tang dynasty.

On top of other exciting excursions, Platinum Members will be treated to an exclusive, per-person tour of Nanxishan Hill Park on Day 3. Enjoy the natural scenery of mountains, caves and cherry blossom trees.

Day 3: Half-day Platinum tour of Nanxishan Hill Park; includes transportation.

• 10-11:40 a.m.: Tour the park and enjoy the natural scenery.

Day 1

Arrive at the airport and meet our representative in the arrivals lobby for your transfer to the hotel (representative available from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.).
Transfer to the hotel at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. or 6 p.m.
Check into the hotel at any time after 3 p.m.
9 a.m. – 6 p.m.: Visit the welcome table in the hotel lobby.
7 p.m.: Welcome buffet dinner at the hotel.

Day 2

6:30-8 a.m.: Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
8:15 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.: Full-day Li River tour; includes lunch, dinner, transportation and gratuities.
• 8:15 a.m.: Pickup from the hotel and transfer to the pier for your Li River cruise.
• 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.: Li River cruise with lunch.
• 2:45-5 p.m.: Bamboo rafting along the Yulong River.
• 6-6:45 p.m.: Chinese-style dinner at the Green Lotus Hotel restaurant.
• 7:45-8:55 p.m.: “Impression of Sanjie Liu” show* in Yangshuo.
• 10 p.m.: Transfer back to Guilin.
• 10:30 p.m.: Arrive back at the hotel.

Day 3

6:30-8 a.m.: Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
A day at your leisure.
7:30-9:30 p.m.: Chinese-style farewell dinner at the hotel.

Day 4

6:30-8 a.m.: Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
The morning at your leisure until checkout and your flight.
Check out of the hotel by noon.
Transfer to the airport at 6 a.m., 9 a.m., noon or 3 p.m.

*This activity will be canceled in the event of inclement weather, and will be replaced with a performance of “Mirage Guilin” on Day 3 (after the farewell dinner).

Cancellation Policy*: If you cancel 36 days or more before the start date of your trip, you’ll get a full refund. If you cancel within 35 days of the start date of your trip, your trip will not be refunded.

*This cancellation policy is subject to rules and regulations in applicable jurisdictions in which our travel supplier is based. Therefore, in the event of conflict between the cancellation policy displayed here and cancellation terms in supplier booking terms, the provisions of the booking terms will prevail.

Name Change Policy: If you change any name(s) on your booking 30 days or more before the start date of your trip, you’ll be charged a fee of US$50 per name change. Name changes are not permitted within 30 days of the start date of your trip.

Welcome DreamTrip Eligibility Policy: The new member rate is available for members who book their first Welcome DreamTrip within 90 days of joining the DreamTrips community. The special new-member rate only applies to your first Welcome DreamTrip booking, and only if booked within the first 90 days of membership. Members not in that window can book a Welcome DreamTrip for the higher, existing member rate, which can be viewed in the drop-down menu. If you book your Welcome DreamTrip at the new member rate but are outside of your 90-day window of eligibility, we will email you to collect the difference between the new member rate and the member rate. You must pay the difference within 72 hours or your reservation will be canceled.

Members can’t combine DreamTrips Points. Your membership level determines the maximum amount of DreamTrips Points you can use. If you have more than 50 Rovia Bucks, you can apply them in the checkout process.

In the unfortunate event that an activity or excursion is no longer available, we will substitute a similar activity of equal or greater value.

It’s important to double check that you have all the identification and other documentation required by the specific country you’re traveling to. In many countries, passports and visas must be valid for 6 months or longer after the trip end date.
