Kos is a Dodecanese island known for its sandy beaches, medieval castles, Roman relics and ancient temples. These include the 15th-century fortress known as the Castle of the Knights. Other popular attractions on the island include the 3rd-century Casa Romana villa, the ruins of Ancient Agora and the Archaeological Museum of Kos. The first recorded mention of the island’s name is found in Homer’s “Iliad,” a classical epic poem written in the 8th century B.C. This scenic jewel in the turquoise Aegean Sea boasts a temperate climate, Ottoman and Venetian architecture and a wide variety of interesting sightseeing destinations.

9 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Aegean adventure excursion; includes transportation and lunch.
• 9 a.m.: Depart from the hotel.
• Board a boat and travel to Agios Antonios.
• Enjoy a barbecue lunch on the boat.
• Travel to Nisyros and see its active volcano.
• Travel to Mandraki and take the bus up the 2.5-mile-wide (4-kilometer-wide) caldera. Explore the crater on foot.
• Enjoy free time at the harbor.
• 5 p.m.: Return to the hotel.

8-10 a.m.: Buffet breakfast at the hotel.

• These excursions are not accessible for wheelchair users.

Name Change Policy: If you change any name(s) on your booking 30 days or more before the start date of your trip, you’ll be charged a fee of US$50 per name change. Name changes are not permitted within 30 days of the start date of your trip.

In the unfortunate event that an activity or excursion is no longer available, we will substitute a similar activity of equal or greater value.
