Discover Sights of Bangkok & Hua Hin

Explore Bangkok’s Buddhist temples and the picturesque coast of Hua Hin on this lively trip showcasing Thailand’s history.

About Your Trip

Explore the beauty of Thailand on this DreamTrip to Bangkok and Hua Hin. Begin in Bangkok and marvel at the sprawling pavilions, courtyards and gardens of the Grand Palace, the official residence of the kings of Siam from 1782 to 1925. At the Grand Palace, you will see the amazing Emerald Buddha statue. Visit Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, the nation’s oldest and largest temple, and admire the impressive Golden Buddha at Wat Traimit.

Journey to Hua Hin to admire the Hua Hin Railway Station and its distinct Victorian Thai-style waiting room and an old steam locomotive on display. Enjoy Plearnwan Market, Thailand’s first eco vintage village, which contains shops built to reflect the atmosphere of Thailand in the 1950s. Merchants include Thai snack stalls, a movie theater, music shop, clothing store, toy store and massage shop.

What we love:
• Bangkok’s Grand Palace offers a complex of buildings that once housed the kings of Siam and includes 18th-century architecture and 4 main courts, divided by several walls and gates.
• Temples in Bangkok feature magnificent Buddha statues, such as the Emerald Buddha, a figurine of the meditating Buddha in the yogic posture. The structure is made of a semi-precious green stone and is clothed in gold. Its counterpart, the Reclining Buddha of Wat Pho, is equally memorable.
• The seaside resort town of Hua Hin is a favorite place for the Thai royal family to vacation. In the 1920s, King Prajadhipok (Rama VII) built his summer residence, Klai Kangwon Palace, there.

Destination

Bangkok is the capital of Thailand, a vibrant and culturally rich city that combines modern skyscrapers with traditional Buddhist temples. Visitors are attracted to its astonishing cultural monuments, sophisticated cuisine and electrifying atmosphere.

Hua Hin is located within the northern part of the Malay Peninsula in Thailand. This area represents the exotic beach resort side of Thailand, and is known for its international kite festival, jazz festival and vintage car rally.
