Discover Culture in Hong Kong

PLATINUM PROMO + 200 POINTS — Embark on a wide-ranging cultural tour across Hong Kong, including museums, high tea and Tai Chi.

About Your Trip

Delve into cultural treasures and explore the “Pearl of the Orient” on this DreamTrip to Hong Kong. Take advantage of ample leisure time to tour the city’s top highlights at your own pace on the 1st day. On Day 2, enjoy an elegant English-style afternoon tea in the hotel lobby. Greet the next morning with an invigorating Tai Chi class, then embark on your full-day cultural tour. Visit the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware, a branch of the Hong Kong Museum of Art, and learn about the global and historical dimensions of one of the world’s most popular beverages. After that, take in a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Following a delicious dim sum lunch at a local restaurant, step up the pace at Stanley Market, where you can barter with vendors of the small shops and street stalls known for their beautiful silk garments, jewelry and other wares.

What we love:
• Your DreamTrip includes an afternoon tea at the hotel, a tradition that started during British colonial times in Hong Kong and continues to this day.
• Although it was originally developed for self-defense, Tai Chi has evolved over the ages into a unique and gentle form of exercise to promote serenity and to fight stress rather than opponents.
• According to Hong Kong tradition, eating noodles on your birthday will grant a blessed and long life!

Destination

Hong Kong is an intense, eclectic city that draws millions of visitors annually thanks to its fascinating blend of modern culture and ancient tradition. This Pearl River Delta metropolis is one of a kind, an autonomous territory known as much for its iconic harbor skyline as its plentiful skyscrapers. Beneath its industrial- and business-focused exterior, this bustling city hides a treasure trove of unique experiences just begging to be discovered. Few cities are better for feasting — the cuisine here is truly global. And thanks to the city’s Chinese roots and British colonial background, there’s also an amazing range of historical, military and contemporary landmarks. There’s no shortage of entertainment and sights to see in Hong Kong — everything from opera to glitzy malls, and from sprawling parks to museums — earning the city the nickname, “Asia’s World City.”
