The distance from the airport to the hotel is approximately 6 kilometers (4 miles).

Day 1

Check into the hotel any time after 3 p.m.
Noon – 5 p.m.: Welcome table in the hotel lobby.
7 p.m.: Welcome reception at the hotel.

Day 2

6:30-9:30 a.m.: Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
9:45 a.m. – 2 p.m.: Dog Sledding, where you’ll have the choice to sit in a sled or steer it. After about 1 hour of dog sledding, you’ll return to the ranch where you can meet the puppies and enjoy a hot meal of traditional Sami food (bidos stew), cake and coffee in a lavvu (Sami tent) before returning to the hotel; includes transportation and lunch.
The rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 3

7:30-11 a.m.: Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
The morning and afternoon at your leisure.
8 p.m. – Midnight: Northern Lights Visit, where you’ll visit the northern lights (only 25 minutes from downtown Tromso). You’ll be served hot drinks and have the opportunity to grill sausages over an open fire in a lavvu (Sami tent) while you wait for the lights. A traditional local dinner (bidos stew) will be served; includes transportation and dinner.

Day 4

7:30-11 a.m.: Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
Check out of the hotel by noon.

We base children’s pricing on their age at the time of travel. Their reservation has to be booked and paid for in order for you to check them in.

Please remember to book a reservation for everyone you’re bringing along on your DreamTrip before you travel. Otherwise, they’ll be charged the hotel’s prevailing rate, not the trip price.

Porterage, parking or any additional gratuities are not included.

Dog Sledding:
• Dress for cold weather.
• Let us know of any food restrictions prior to the trip. Vegetarian food will be available.
• If you wish to steer your own sled, let us know when you book the trip. If weather/snow conditions are bad, you may have to sit in the sled driven by one of the guides. The price for riding and driving is the same.
• This excursion is not recommended for children under the age of 4.

Northern Lights Visit:
• The northern lights are a natural occurrence so we can’t guarantee that they will be visible. If they’re not visible, you’ll have the chance to visit the dog yard with puppies.
• Dress for cold weather.
• Let us know of any food restrictions prior to the trip.
• This tour is not recommended for children under the age of 4.

Airfare is not included in the trip price! The closest commercial airport to the hotel is Tromso Airport (TOS), approximately 6 kilometers (4 miles). We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance for any trip.

Make sure to arrange your own transfers between the airport and your hotel, as they’re not included in the trip price.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel 91 days or more before your trip, you’ll get a refund less a fee of US$50. If you cancel between 46 and 90 days before your trip, you’ll get a refund less a fee of US$100. If you cancel within 45 days of your trip, your trip will not be refunded. All fees are on a per-person basis.

Name Change Policy: If you change any name(s) on your booking 45 days or more before the start date of your trip, there will be no fee for the name change(s). If you change any name(s) on your booking 44 to 31 days before the start date of your trip, you’ll be charged a fee of US$50 per name change. Name changes are not permitted within 30 days of the start date of your trip.

Members can’t combine DreamTrips™ Points. Your membership level determines the maximum amount of DreamTrips Points you can use. If you have more than 50 Rovia Bucks, you can apply them in the checkout process.

Hotel/resort credits and/or discounts cannot be converted to cash, and any not used during your stay will expire immediately upon your departure. Member is responsible for paying any taxes that may be added to items purchased with hotel/resort credit. 

In the unfortunate event that an activity or excursion is no longer available, we will substitute a similar activity of equal or greater value.

As always, make sure that your passport/visa is up-to-date before you leave! It’s very important to double check that you have all the necessary identification required for the specific country you’re traveling to. Keep in mind that many countries require passports and/or visas to be valid for a minimum of six months after the end date of the trip. 

Please note: Due to contractual supplier policies, we may not be able to confirm requested name or room changes to existing bookings for trips that are scheduled to travel within 30 days of your request.

Members with additional people in room, not booked prior to travel, will be charged the hotel’s prevailing rate, not the trip price.
