Nashville’s Scenic & Music Landscapes

Experience the hospitality and taste of the South with this DreamTrip to the country-music capital of the world.

About Your Trip

Indulge in different sides of Nashville, Tennessee, from picturesque river views to boot-scooting music. Start with a cruise on the Cumberland River aboard the stately General Jackson Showboat to take in the sights, as well as a country-music variety show with a Southern-style lunch. Then, put on your cowboy boots to head to the Wildhorse Saloon for barbecue and country line dancing.

Take advantage of your complimentary 3-day pass for the Wildhorse Downtown Shuttle, which runs continuously all day starting at 10 a.m. With 5 stops along its route, the shuttle is a great way to experience downtown Nashville. Enjoy the Johnny Cash Museum as well as the Country Music Hall of Fame – both within walking distance from the Ryman Auditorium shuttle stop.

What we love:
• Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center boasts enormous glass-roofed atriums housing numerous shopping and dining options, an indoor riverboat garden cruise, golf course and more.
• Home of the Grand Ole Opry, Nashville has showcased generations of country music artists. It’s the place to be if you’re a music lover.
• The Goo Goo Shop in downtown serves up mouthwatering desserts based on the decadent Goo Goo Cluster, which originated in Nashville.

Destination

Nashville is a big city with small-town Southern charm. Remains of the antebellum United States can be found in stately plantations, inviting you to peer into the country’s past. Sweet tea and fried chicken are embedded in the heritage of the South, but the city’s fruit tea and “hot chicken” put a local twist on these 2 Southern staples.

Nashville’s storied musical past makes it country music’s mecca, earning it the moniker of “Music City U.S.A.” The sounds of the Grand Ole Opry (just minutes from the Gaylord Opryland Resort), the tastes of The Loveless Cafe and the sights of Centennial Park will make memories of Nashville that are sure to stay with you forever.
