Fourth of July Fun & Fireworks

Celebrate with live music, family fun & epic fireworks at Nashville’s Let Freedom Sing event & go on an exciting city tour!

About Your Trip

Kick off your stay in Nashville with the rousing Let Freedom Sing celebration in the heart of "Music City U.S.A." With live music, food trucks, vendors and plenty of family-friendly activities, there’s no shortage of food and fun to keep everyone in the family happy! Before the day comes to an end, you’ll sit back and marvel at the beautiful Nashville sky as it bursts with colors during the celebration’s fireworks show synchronized to music by the GRAMMY® Award-winning Nashville Symphony.

The fun doesn't stop there! In the morning, you’ll head out on a tour of the city. Take in top city attractions like Riverfront Park, Ryman Auditorium, the Tennessee State Capitol, Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, the Parthenon, Vanderbilt University, Music Row and RCA Studio B. Explore Nashville Farmer’s Market, then head west toward Belle Meade. While there, you’ll visit the historic Belle Meade Plantation, listen to a narrated tour through the mansion given by a guide in period clothing and savor a wine tasting. Your day ends with a delicious barbecue dinner and a fun evening on Honky Tonk Row.

In your leisure time, why not take advantage of all your hotel has to offer? Make a splash at Soundwaves™, an upscale indoor and outdoor water park that has to be seen to be believed! Or, stay dry and hit a round of golf balls at the on-site practice range. Want to venture away from the hotel? Check out the renowned Grand Ole Opry® House, where the world’s most beloved and longest-running live country music radio show is still performed.

What we love:
• In addition to its indoor-outdoor water park, Gaylord Opryland® Resort & Convention Center boasts enormous glass-roofed atriums housing numerous shopping and dining options, an indoor riverboat garden cruise, golf course and more.
• Home of the Grand Ole Opry, Nashville has showcased generations of country music artists — it’s the place to be if you’re a music lover.
• The fireworks show at the Let Freedom Sing celebration is considered one of the best in the country.
• Madame Tussauds Nashville celebrates the musical icons in a lifelike fashion you will not forget.

Destination

Nashville is a big city with small-town Southern charm. Remains of the antebellum United States can be found in stately plantations, inviting you to peer into the country’s past. Sweet tea and fried chicken are embedded in the heritage of the South, but the city’s fruit tea and “hot chicken” put a local twist on these 2 Southern staples.

Nashville’s storied musical past makes it country music’s mecca, earning it the moniker of “Music City U.S.A.” The sounds of the Grand Ole Opry (just minutes from the Gaylord Opryland Resort), the tastes of The Loveless Cafe and the sights of Centennial Park will make memories of Nashville that are sure to stay with you forever.
