Brews & Views in Vermont

Get your fill of hand-crafted beer & pizza on a private brewery tour & savor a family-friendly stay at a mountainside lodge.

About Your Trip

Raise a glass — or a few! — on an exclusive beer-tasting tour to top Burlington breweries. You’ll be treated like a VIP as you get a behind-the-scenes look at the production and history of the breweries while tasting more than 15 local craft beers. Not only will you sip on hand-crafted brews, but you’ll indulge in a pizza and beer pairing experience at an award-winning restaurant for lunch — can you think of a better combo? Feast on delicious wood-fired pizza including classic pizza, sausage cacciatore pizza and more!

Back at the lodge, indulge in family-friendly fun at the resort’s Village Center, where you’ll find live music, lawn games, shops and a weekly farmer’s market with local meats, cheeses, craft beers and more. Or, simply stroll through the resort grounds while taking in the orange and yellow foliage and breathing in the crisp autumn air. Those wishing to venture away for a few hours can check out the city’s thriving arts community at a local gallery such as Green Mountain Fine Art Gallery. Or, make your way to Remarkable Things at Stowe Craft, which features handmade items created by local artists — the perfect place to pick out a souvenir!

What we love:
• The von Trapp family — made famous by “The Sound of Music” — moved to Stowe in 1942.
• The temperature of Spruce Peak’s Village Center is controlled by the largest geothermal field in northern Vermont featuring over 100 wells to reduce the use of fossil fuels.
• Stowe was ranked No. 1 on the “Top 10 Foliage Destinations in the U.S.” list by TripAdvisor®.
• To maximize your enjoyment, download the DreamTrips™ app to access DreamTrips Local — then earn points on dining, entertainment, spa experiences & more at select spots recommended by DreamTrippers just like you!

Destination

Stowe, Vermont, is a year-round recreation destination at the foot of Mt. Mansfield, the highest peak in the state. Agriculture and lumber were integral to Stowe’s early development before it became a popular summer resort destination in the mid-1800s. In 1913, skiing was introduced to the town by way of a few Swedish families, and soon Stowe was a renowned ski destination. Today, Stowe is an in-demand 4-season locale with exciting activities spanning the entire year.
